Snap360 prints from the iPad to a DNP when a compatible bridge or print server makes it available through AirPrint on the booth network. A direct USB connection to the iPad does not replace that bridge. The Windows version is not available yet.
DNP makes dye-sublimation printers for photography and events. The DS-RX1HS, DS620 and QW410 provide options to compare capacity, print formats and portability. To confirm a particular setup, speak to our hardware partner.

DNP: A Short History and Its Printers for Events
DNP is Dai Nippon Printing, a Japanese printing company founded in 1876. Its photo division makes dye-sub printers, along with the paper and ribbon they use, for studios, events and photo booths. In booths you mostly see three:
- DS-RX1HS: the high-capacity one, for 2x6 strips and 4x6 prints at long events.
- DS620: fast and with more 6-inch formats, one of the most common printers in professional booths.
- QW410: the most compact in the lineup, built for small booths and mobile events.
How to Print to a DNP from a Photo Booth with Snap360
- Publish the printer on the booth network. Printing from the iPad requires an AirPrint-accessible printer. USB printers need a compatible bridge or print server; joining the network alone is not enough. Confirm the printer model and setup before the event.
- Pick the event format. Strip, single print or square, with the template and your client's logo.
- Shoot. With a Canon EOS by cable, the app takes the photo and places it in the template.
- Print and share. The print comes out of the DNP and the same photo reaches the guest by QR code.
